Be kind
Reviews are about the content, not about other reviewers. Critique the publisher's choices, not the parents who liked it.
Cite specific concerns with age groups
"Not appropriate" is not useful. "Not appropriate for 5-7 because of the ad density" is useful. Always tell the next parent which age bucket your concern applies to.
No defamation
Don't accuse a publisher of crimes, fraud, or intent without evidence. Stick to what the content does, not what the creator might be like as a person.
No targeting creators for harassment
If a listing concerns you, leave a substantive review. Do not coordinate off-platform campaigns against a creator. Reviews used to coordinate harassment are removed and the reviewer is suspended.
How moderation works
Reviews enter the queue at submission. AEGIS pre-screens for guideline violations and edge cases. Trained parent moderators (verified, paid, rotating) make final decisions. Decisions are logged with reason codes.
How to appeal a moderation action
Every moderation email contains an appeal link. Appeals go to a different moderator from the one who made the original decision. Decisions on appeal are final.
