Child device setup

I want to secure a tablet

Connect it to a Windows PC or Mac with USB. The setup app handles the rest.

The child’s device does not download anything from this page — everything it needs arrives over the cable. Download the setup app onto your computer, not onto the tablet. The computer itself is not protected; it is only the setup host.

Parent control apps

Check in from your own phone or tablet

Manage limits, requests, and device controls. The parent app does not supervise your own phone.

On Android, get the ParentProof parent app on Google Play. The iPhone and iPad app is not yet available; use the web portal in the meantime.

Version, size and signature come straight from the file we publish.

Windows: the permission window should name Eric MacDougall. Mac: let macOS verify the developer. If either platform reports an unknown publisher or harmful file, stop and do not continue.
