Protection stays on

You lose the paid features. Your child stays protected. A lapsed payment does not unlock a tablet, does not restore a blocked app, and does not disable the filter.

This is built into the product, not a policy we could quietly change: no billing state can turn protection off — not a card that fails, not a plan you cancel, not an invoice nobody paid. A child's safety is not leverage for collecting a card.

A subscription change means you would not be able to change your child's settings — add or tighten a restriction, add a child or a device, or ring a tablet until payment is sorted out. Lifting a restriction, unblocking a site, granting more time and unlocking a device stay available.

Questions about plans

What happens if a payment changes?

Protection is never tied to payment: a lapse can suspend your ability to change settings, never the restrictions already running on the device — and lifting a restriction stays available throughout.

Are plans per device or per family?

Per family. Each plan covers the Android devices and computers in your household. A child's iPhone or iPad is not a device ParentProof can supervise on any plan — the devices page explains why.

Can both parents have access?

Yes, and it is included. One parent creates an invite code, the other enters it, and they see the same tablets and the same settings. Nothing is emailed — the code is handed over the way a pairing code is.
